When she was nine years old, Loba Andrade witnessed her parents’ murders at the hands of the simulacrum Revenant. Now, her parents’ seemingly immortal killer has re-emerged in the Apex Games, and she’s looking for answers, treasure, and a way to take the one thing that’s always been out of her reach: revenge.

Apex Legends Season 5 – Introducing Loba
Apex Legends is one of those games that I have regrettably never made time for. I’m a huge fan of the developers – Respawn – and have enjoyed most of the games they have either created or been involved with, including Call of Duty (as the original Infinity Ward), the more recent versions of Battlefield and the Titanfall series. It really sucked that not enough people played Titanfall or Titanfall 2.
My son, however, is a complete Apex Legends addict. When I woke up this morning – went to bed late because I caught a small case of margaritas and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to celebrate Cinco De Mayo on lockdown – Cpt Caustic (my son’s gamertag) bombarded me with a conversation that I could barely understand until about the 3rd time he told it.
“Dad, guess what?” he said. Before I could speak, he continued. “They just made an announcement for Apex Legends, Season 5 and I already have enough money for the new Legend. She’s called Loba and she wants to kill Revenant and…”. I admittedly told him that I had no idea what he was talking about. So, of course he pulls up the video for the Season 5 launch.
The trailer was pretty amazing. I mean, I played Apex Legends when it first came out but I honestly had no idea that it had grown into what it is today. At the time, I just thought it was going to be another knock off version of Fortnite, like PUBG (yes, I know PUBG came out first). Like I said, I played Titanfall. I knew how good it could be but, after watching the trailer for Season 5, I quickly realized that I knew absolutely nothing about what Apex Legends had become. I think I need to reintroduce myself.

If you are already an Apex Legend, feel free to take it easy on me. If you have never played Apex Legends and would like to, I’ll be on Facebook Gaming.
Too bad Cpt Caustic owns a PS4 though. The game isn’t cross platform yet.
